Choosing Weave & Sew-in Hair

Sew-in hair is attached to a braided base to add length, volume, texture or colour while the natural hair remains underneath. Choose the texture, length and shade with your finished hairstyle in mind.

Choose by Texture and Finish

  • Straight weave: Creates a sleek finish and works well for short, shaped styles or longer straight looks.
  • Wavy weave: Adds movement and volume with a softer finish.
  • Curly or Afro-textured weave: Offers fuller texture and can create rounded, layered or natural-looking styles.
  • Blended colours: Two-tone and ombré shades add highlights or contrast without colouring your natural hair.

How Many Packs Will You Need?

The amount varies by the product, length, head size, desired fullness and whether you are completing a full or partial sew-in. Confirm the likely quantity with your stylist before ordering whenever possible.

Before Installation

Check the product length, texture and colour in the individual listing. Synthetic fibres differ in their heat tolerance, so do not use hot tools unless the product is specifically described as heat-friendly.

AFRIHAIR Tip

Keep the scalp and natural hair underneath the installation clean and comfortable. At night, cover the style with satin and gently detangle the weave from the ends upward to help reduce unnecessary frizz and tangling.
