Choosing Just For Me Children’s Hair Care

The products in this collection do very different jobs. The leave-in conditioner supports everyday moisture without changing the hair’s structure. The Texture Softener and No-Lye Relaxers chemically and permanently alter treated hair.

Choose by Hair-Care Goal

  • For everyday moisture and easier detangling: Just For Me Nourishing Leave-In Conditioner is the non-chemical option for conditioning curly, coily and naturally textured hair.
  • For loosening rather than fully straightening the natural pattern: Just For Me Texture Softener Kit is a chemical texturising system. It permanently changes treated hair and must only be used when the child meets every age and suitability requirement printed in the kit.
  • For chemical straightening: choose No-Lye Relaxer Regular only when the package indicates it is suitable for the child’s hair. No-Lye Relaxer Super is for coarse or resistant hair and should not be chosen merely to make processing faster.

Important Adult Safety Guidance

An adult must read the complete enclosed leaflet before starting and follow it over any general website guidance. Observe every age restriction, warning and processing time. Perform the required strand test, wear gloves, and do not apply a chemical system to a scratched, irritated or damaged scalp. Do not overlap onto previously softened or relaxed lengths.

If the hair is coloured, bleached, previously chemically treated or its history is uncertain, check the kit restrictions carefully and consult an experienced professional before proceeding.
